Lahore (Web Desk): Former captain of Pakistan cricket team Shahid Afridi has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
In a tweet on Saturday, the former Pakistan skipper shared the news and appealed his fans to pray for him.
“I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately I’m COVID-19 positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah,” Afridi said.

Shahid Afridi had recently been busy with his charitable foundation as the country grapples with the spread of the novel coronavirus.
