Islamabad hosts grand ceremony today to kick off Independence Day & Marka-e-Haq celebrations

Islamabad (Web Desk): A significant and grand event is scheduled to take place today at Islamabad’s Jinnah Sports Stadium to mark Independence Day alongside the celebration of the Marka-e-Haq victory.

The ceremony will be graced by President Asif Ali Zardari as the chief guest.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, together with the chiefs of the army, navy, and air force, will also be present on this important occasion.

The event is expected to draw a wide range of distinguished guests from both national and international circles.

The attendees will witness special cultural displays designed to honour the occasion.

The celebration will also feature a military parade by all three branches of the armed forces, complemented by an aerial flypast.

In a highlight of the event, PM Shehbaz is set to inaugurate the Marka-e-Haq Monument, commemorating the recent victory.

Notably, military units from allied nations Türkiye and Azerbaijan have been invited to participate in the Independence Day festivities, underscoring the spirit of international camaraderie.
