President Zardari to represent Pakistan at World Summit for Social Development in Qatar

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari is set to embark on an official visit to Doha, Qatar, from November 3 to 6, 2025, to take part in the World Summit for Social Development.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office (FO), the upcoming summit, organized by the State of Qatar, will gather heads of state and government from across the globe to reaffirm their dedication to advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The conference will conclude with the signing of the Doha Political Declaration, aimed at reinforcing collective action toward social progress.

President Zardari will deliver his address to the summit on November 4, where he will to stress the importance of stronger global partnerships to promote social justice, equality, and human dignity.

The president will also advocate for the creation of an inclusive and restructured international financial system to better facilitate social advancement, particularly benefiting developing nations in the Global South.

In his remarks, the president will also highlight Pakistan’s accomplishments in reducing poverty, improving healthcare and education, and advancing sustainable development initiatives, reaffirming the country’s unwavering commitment to the global development goals.
