Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz makes surprise visit to field hospital near Murree

Murree(Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz paid a surprise visit to a field hospital in a suburban area of Murree to inspect the medical facilities being provided to the public.

During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with doctors and staff to understand the hospital's operations. She also spoke to patients and their families, who expressed satisfaction with the availability of free medicines and diagnostic tests.

Calling the field hospital initiative a prime example of public service, Maryam Nawaz noted its importance for elderly women and patients from remote areas. She stated that over 12.5 million patients have benefited from field hospitals and the "Clinic on Wheels" program so far.

She emphasized that access to healthcare is a basic right and reaffirmed her government’s commitment to fulfilling public service responsibilities. She also announced plans to further expand the reach of field hospitals and mobile clinics across the province.
