DPM Dar visits Bangladesh High Commission to condole death of Begum Khaleda Zia

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishaq Dar visited the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad on Friday to express his heartfelt condolences on the passing of former prime minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia.

During his visit, he also signed the condolence book.

Speaking on the occasion, Ishaq Dar described her death as a significant loss, not only for her family but also for the people of Bangladesh.

He praised Khaleda Zia’s lifelong dedication to serving the public and advancing the welfare of her nation, noting that her determination and leadership during difficult times have left a lasting mark.

Dar added that she would always be remembered with respect by those who value service to their country and citizens.

The deputy prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with Bangladesh in this period of grief and expressed the hope of strengthening ties and cooperation between the two countries in the future.

The Acting High Commissioner of Bangladesh thanked Ishaq Dar for his visit and for signing the condolence book, noting that such gestures reflect the strong and enduring friendship between Islamabad and Dhaka.
