PM Shehbaz visits Bangladesh High Commission to condole Khaleda Zia's death

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday visited the Bangladesh High Commission to offer condolences on the death of Begum Khaleda Zia, the former prime minister of Bangladesh and head of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.

During his visit, the met the Bangladeshi Charge d’Affaires, wrote a message in the condolence book, and offered Fateha for the departed leader.

In his condolence message, he paid rich tribute to Begum Khaleda Zia, describing her as a visionary leader and an eminent political figure who devoted her life to public service.

He recalled her as a genuine well-wisher of Pakistan and said her political journey and contributions would continue to inspire future generations.

On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, PM Shehbaz extended sincere sympathies to her family, supporters, and the people of Bangladesh, and prayed that Almighty Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi accompanied the premier during the visit.
