Imran Khan to lead PTI's countrywide protest from jail, says Senator Ali Zafar 

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has declared the launch of a nationwide protest campaign with its founder and premier Imran Khan announcing his leadership of the movement from within prison.

PTI Senator Ali Zafar said this while talking to media after meeting Imran Khan at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.

Senator Zafar made it clear that the protest would not be limited to the federal capital. Instead, it would unfold across the entire country, signaling a major mobilization effort by the party.

According to Zafar, Imran Khan has grown increasingly frustrated with both the judicial system and the executive, believing that PTI has been deliberately denied fair treatment.

He said the party has reached a point where it has no choice but to respond through a public and democratic protest.

The PTI senator said that he been personally tasked by Khan with formulating the strategy for this movement.

He explained that the plan will be developed in coordination with PTI’s legal team and senior leadership, after which it will be submitted to Khan for approval during their next meeting.

Zafar underscored that this would not be a spontaneous or loosely organized effort. Rather, it would be carefully planned to ensure it has a lasting and meaningful impact.

According to the PTI leader, Imran Khan is fully committed to seeing this protest achieve concrete results.

Despite being incarcerated, Khan continues to lead PTI from jail, and party officials insist they will faithfully follow his instructions. Zafar emphasized that whatever decisions the party chairman makes will be implemented without hesitation.

When questioned about the upcoming hearing in the Al-Qadir Trust case, scheduled for June 5, Zafar acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding it, saying only that they still hope justice will prevail.
