Rawalpindi (Web Desk): At least 92 terrorists were killed and15 police and security personnel and 18 innocent citizens were martyred as the security forces and law enforcement agencies thwarted attacks by Indian-sponsored terrorists targeting multiple locations across Balochistan, the military's media wing said on Saturday.

According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), on January 31, 2026, terrorists of Indian sponsored Fitna al Hindustan attempted to disturb peace of Balochistan by conducting multiple terrorist activities around Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Tump, Gwadar and Pasni

“On behest of their foreign masters, these cowardly acts of terrorism were aimed at disrupting the lives of local populace and development of Balochistan by targeting innocent civilians in District Gwadar and Kharan, wherein, terrorists maliciously targeted 18 innocent civilians (including women, children, elderly and labours) who embraced Shahadat,” it said.

The statement added that Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies being fully alert immediately responded and successfully thwarted the evil design of terrorists displaying unwavering courage and professional excellence.

“Our valiant troops carried out engagement of terrorists with precision and after prolong, intense and daring clearance operation across Balochistan, sent 92 terrorists, including three suicide bombers to hell, ensuring security and protection of local populace,” the ISPR said.

The statement added, “Tragically, during clearance operations and intense standoffs, 15 brave sons of soil, having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.”

The military’s media wing said that the sanitisation operations in these areas are being continuously conducted and the instigators, perpetrators, facilitators and abettors of these heinous and cowardly acts, targeting innocent civilians and Law Enforcement Agencies personals, will be brought to Justice.
Intelligence reports have unequivocally confirmed that the attacks were orchestrated and directed by terrorists ring leaders operating from outside Pakistan, who were in directcommunication with the terrorists throughout the incident.

Earlier on 30 January, 41 terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khwarij were killed in Panjgur and Harnai. With these successful operations in last two days, the total number of terrorists killed in the ongoing operations in Balochistan has reached 133.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area.

“Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep appreciation for the swift and effective measures taken by security forces against terrorist attacks in Balochistan.

In separate statements, they paid homage to the courage and sacrifice of the officers as well as the innocent civilians who lost their lives during these operations.

The president and the premier commended the professionalism and dedication of the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies in successfully preventing multiple attacks carried out by Fitna Al Hindustan.

President Zardari stressed that the government remains fully committed to maintaining peace in Balochistan, ensuring the safety of its citizens, and upholding the nation’s unity.

He underscored that operations will continue with full force against hostile elements and their foreign-backed supporters.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the nation’s pride in the martyrs, acknowledging the selfless service of security personnel who put their lives on the line to protect the country.

He affirmed that the people of Pakistan stand united with the armed forces in their unwavering resolve to eradicate terrorism and defend the homeland.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that recent attacks in the province were successfully prevented thanks to a coordinated effort between the police and the Frontier Corps. He asserted that such violent attempts would not weaken the government’s determination to combat terrorism.

During a visit to Quetta, CM Bugti inspected one of the blast sites firsthand, evaluated the security situation, and held discussions with police and paramilitary personnel stationed there.

He also received a comprehensive briefing from Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir regarding the ongoing security measures and operational response.

Bugti emphasized that those who target the state would face strict consequences, leaving no space for compromise when it comes to preserving peace in Balochistan.

The Balochistan also commended the police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for their prompt and effective action against the assailants, highlighting their dedication and professionalism in protecting the province.
