Islamabad (Web Desk): A high-level meeting was held at the Presidential Palace between President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to discuss the multidimensional challenges facing the country and the state of national security.
The meeting, attended by key political and military leadership, was considered crucial given the current circumstances.
Prominent figures present at the session included Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Ishaq Dar, Mohsin Naqvi, and Lt. Gen. Asim Malik.
During the meeting, National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Asim Malik briefed the leadership on internal and external security matters.
The participants appreciated the efforts of security agencies in countering terrorism and protecting national borders and reaffirmed their full support for maintaining law and order.
President Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif also discussed the roadmap for economic recovery, focusing on the energy crisis, electricity pricing, and relief measures for the common people. Ishaq Dar updated the attendees on ongoing international efforts to stabilize the economy.
