President Zardari, Interior Minister Naqvi review security situation in KP and Balochistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on President Asif Ali Zardari in Karachi and held detailed discussion on the overall law and order situation in the country, placing particular attention on the security challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan.

During the meeting, the interior minister updated the president on the latest security situation in both provinces and outlined the ongoing operations and government initiatives aimed at eliminating terrorism and strengthening public safety.

President Zardari commended the Pakistan Armed Forces, police and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) for their courage, dedication and unwavering commitment in confronting terrorism. 

He said the nation remained united in its support for the security forces and stood firmly behind their efforts to wipe out terrorism and secure lasting peace across the country.

The meeting also included an extensive discussion on the prevailing political landscape, while the two leaders exchanged views on several other issues of national interest.
