Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, is scheduled to visit China on Tuesday at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office (FO), the visit reflects the deep-rooted, all-weather strategic partnership between the two countries, which includes close coordination and ongoing consultations on both regional and global matters.

During this visit, the leaders will engage in comprehensive talks addressing regional developments as well as bilateral and international issues of mutual interest.

DPM Dar’s visit to China, despite medical advice to rest following his hairline shoulder fracture on Monday, is evidence of the importance placed by Pakistan on its relationship with China.
