DPM Dar embarks on one-day visit to China for 'in-depth' discussions on regional developments

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has set off for Beijing on a brief one-day official trip, underscoring ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two countries.

During the stay, he will to meet Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to assess the progress of bilateral relations and hold discussions on important regional and international matters of shared concern.

This will be Dar’s second visit to the Chinese capital this year, highlighting the steady pace of high-level interactions between Pakistan and China.

Earlier on Monday, the Foreign Office (FO) stated that the visit reflects the deep-rooted, all-weather strategic partnership between the two countries, which includes close coordination and ongoing consultations on both regional and global matters.

During this visit, the leaders will engage in comprehensive talks addressing regional developments as well as bilateral and international issues of mutual interest.

DPM Dar's visit to Beijing is of the importance placed by Pakistan on its relationship with China as the two countries enjoy an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, characterized by close coordination and regular consultations on regional and international issues.
