Pakistan’s position accepted at SCO summit, India’s claim rejected: Khawaja Asif

Islamabad (Web Desk):  Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said Pakistan’s stance was recognized at the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, while India failed to promote its false narrative.

Speaking to a private TV channel, he stated that no party can unilaterally suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, describing India’s behavior as a reaction to its defeat in war.

He added that the summit atmosphere was cordial, and according to the forum’s rules, no member was allowed to respond directly to another’s speech.

Khawaja Asif said all member countries supported Pakistan’s position during the meeting.
