Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,600, reaching Rs290,300 on Thursday, compared to Rs288,700 the previous day.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw an increase of Rs1,372, bringing it to Rs 248,885 from Rs247,513, while the cost of 10-gram 22-karat gold went up to Rs228,152 from Rs226,895.
Silver prices also climbed, with per tola silver gaining Rs59 to Rs3,450 and 10-gram silver rising by Rs50 to Rs2,957.
Meanwhile, the international price of gold increased by $15, reaching $2,778 from $2,763, as reported by the association.
