Gold price increase by Rs4,100, reaches to Rs492,462 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): The gold price moved higher in the local bullion market, with 24-karat gold per tola increasing by Rs4,100 to reach Rs492,462, up from the previous closing of Rs488,362, according to the rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw an increase of Rs3,515, bringing it to Rs422,206 compared to Rs418,691 a day earlier, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs3,222 to Rs 387,036 from Rs383,814.

In the international market, gold prices also strengthened, climbing by $41 per ounce to settle at $4,701, compared with the previous rate of $4,660.

Silver prices also followed an upward trend. In the domestic market, silver per tola went up by Rs 395 to reach Rs 8,908, while 10 grams of silver increased by Rs339 to Rs7,637. in international market, silver was also higher, rising by $3.95 to $84.24 per ounce.
