Muscat (Agencies): Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Wednesday reached Muscat to hold talks with the Omani leadership and attend Pak-Oman Joint Ministerial Commission meeting.
Apart from foreign ministers of both the countries, representatives of various departments will also attend the meeting.
Bilateral ties as well as regional and international issues will be discussed during the meetings with the Omani leadership.
Earlier upon his arrival in Muscat, Qureshi was received at the airport by his Omani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi and senior officials of the Omani Foreign Ministry.

On Tuesday, Russia’s Special Representative on Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Faisal, both the leaders agreed to continue regular consultations on the Afghan peace process and support regional initiatives to bring lasting peace in Afghanistan and the region.
Zamir Kabulov appreciated appreciated Pakistan's role and efforts for Afghan peace and Reconcillation.
“Ambassador Zamir Kabulov, Special Representative of the Russian President on #Afghanistan called on FM Qureshi at MoFA today. The #Russian Special Representative appreciated Pakistan's role and efforts for Afghan peace and Reconcillation,” Dr Faisal said in tweet.
