President Zardari, PM Shehbaz felicitate Turkiye on 102nd Republic Day

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have conveyed their heartfelt felicitations to the government and people of Turkiye on the 102nd Republic Day of Turkiye, celebrating its enduring spirit of unity and progress.

President Zardari, in his message, noted that this historic day marks a pivotal chapter in world history when the Turkish nation, under the far-sighted leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, embarked on an era of transformation, renewal, and reform.

He said that the unwavering resolve with which the people of Türkiye shaped their destiny continues to inspire nations around the world.

President Zardari recalled that Pakistan’s founding fathers, Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, deeply admired the courage and visionary leadership that paved the way for the Republic of Türkiye and the sweeping reforms that elevated it among the distinguished nations of the world.

The president affirmed that Türkiye enjoys a special place in the hearts of Pakistanis, with relations between the two brotherly countries rooted in shared faith, history, and mutual respect.

He said both nations have always stood side by side, steadfast and united, in every testing time.

President Zardari said that Pakistan’s institutional ties with Türkiye remain strong and dynamic, expressing optimism that the relationship will continue to grow rapidly across all areas of mutual cooperation

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a message shared on his X account, praised Türkiye’s extraordinary transformation and economic revival over the years under the bold and visionary leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying that the nation’s progress has earned admiration across the world.

He remarked that Pakistan takes immense pride in the achievements of its Turkish brothers and remains a devoted partner in their collective journey toward prosperity.

The prime minister underlined that Pakistan and Türkiye are bound by enduring ties of faith, history, and fraternity that transcend borders and generations.

PM Shehbaz added that under President Erdoğan’s wise leadership, relations between the two countries have entered a new phase of strategic collaboration as both sides work together to unlock the vast potential of their deep-rooted and time-tested friendship.
