APSUP organises first-ever Pakistan Pavilion at GETEX 2025 in Dubai

Dubai (Web Desk): The Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) has set up the first-ever Pakistani Pavilion at the Global Education and Training Exhibition (GITEX) 2025 exhibition in Dubai.

A 30-member high-level educational delegation from Pakistan, headed by APSUP Chairman Professor Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman is participation in the international event.

The delegation includes representatives from all four provinces, including vice chancellors, directors, and presidents of leading private universities in Pakistan.

A total of 12 Pakistani universities will be part of the pavilion, including Superior University Lahore, Peshawar City University, Peshawar Gandhara University, Gujranwala GIFT University, Preston University Islamabad, Rashid Latif Khan University Lahore, The University of Faisalabad, University of Lahore, Tando Muhammad Khan University of Modern Sciences, University of Sialkot, and Multan University of Southern Punjab.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman stated that APSUP aims to showcase Pakistan’s educational capabilities to the world.

“We will proudly present our academic strengths on an international stage,” he said, adding that the goal of Pakistan’s pavilion at GITEX Dubai 2025 is to promote the country’s high educational standards, build new academic partnerships, and strengthen existing relationships. We also intend to provide the Pakistani community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with direct access to higher education opportunities in Pakistan," he said.

The APSUP chief added that the focus would be on promoting research and innovation in education and healthcare to highlight Pakistan's positive image on the global front.

Previously, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, APSUP also represented Pakistan at the 2023 Global Exhibition in Istanbul, and in 2024, Pakistan participated in the Global Exhibition in Toulouse, France, where the Pakistan Pavilion highlighted universities and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
