Islamabad (Staff Report): The price of petroleum products likely to go up from March 1st as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended an increase in the price.
The OGRA has sent a summery, recommending an increase of Rs 3.56 for petrol, while kerosene oil has a suggested increase of Rs 6.28, and Rs 6.94 has been recommended for high-speed diesel.
If the prime minister approved the summery, the new price of petrol will be Rs 88.7 per litre, whereas the price of diesel will be Rs 102.77 per litre. The price of diesel has been set keeping in view general sales tax of 31 percent.
