Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Seven terrorists were killed in exchange of fire with the security forces in general area of Ghulam Khan KaIle in North Waziristan district, the military's media wing said on Sunday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), army troops effectively engaged the terrorists and resultantly, seven of them were killed.
"During an intense exchange of fire, Subedar Munir Hussain (age 44 years, resident of Parachinar, Kurram) and Havildar Babu Khan (age 38 years, resident of DI Khan), having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat", the ISPR added.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in several terrorist activities against security forces.
An area clearance was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the vicinity, the ISPR statement said.
