90,000 lives lost in terror war, yet Pakistan continues to fight: Attaullah Tarar

Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, stated that Pakistan has sacrificed 90,000 lives in the fight against terrorism, and the country’s economy has incurred trillions of dollars in losses due to this ongoing war.

During a briefing to foreign media in Islamabad, Attaullah Tarar emphasized the need to understand that Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism. He pointed out that no other country has made such a significant sacrifice in the fight against terrorism as Pakistan has.

The Minister further explained that Pakistan is a frontline state in the war on terrorism, and our security forces, police, intelligence agencies, and citizens have made immense sacrifices. He added that the country’s economy has been severely impacted by terrorism, and Pakistan continues to fight against these terrorists, especially the foreign-backed militants.

Attaullah Tarar emphasized that Pakistan is not only a frontline state in the war against terrorism but also the wall between terrorism and the world.

He also mentioned that Pakistan needs to be strengthened and supported in this situation, as the country has played a vital role in fighting terrorism and continues to do so.

The Information Minister referred to recent events in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, particularly the incident involving the Jaffar Express, where an entire train was hijacked. While this incident was condemned worldwide, India did not speak out, which he attributed to India’s involvement in terrorism.

Attaullah Tarar mentioned the arrest of Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was involved in terrorist activities, and said that Pakistan has solid evidence regarding his involvement.
