Field Marshal Asim Munir's visit to China, discussion on defense cooperation with Chinese military leadership

Beijing  (Web Desk): Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), recently concluded his official visit to the People's Republic of China, where he was warmly received at the headquarters of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) and honored with a Guard of Honor.

During his visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir held a meeting with General Chen Hui, the Political Commissioner of the PLA. The discussions focused on enhancing defense and security cooperation between the two countries, regional peace and stability, military training, and other important issues.

Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the significance of the Pak-China friendship and defense collaboration for regional peace, while the Chinese leadership praised the professionalism and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.

This visit is seen as a crucial step in further expanding the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.
