President Zardari felicitates Kuwaiti leadership, people on national day

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday conveyed his sincere congratulations to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as to the people of Kuwait, on the occasion of their National Day and the Hala February festivities.

In his letter to the Kuwaiti Emir, President Zardari observed that these celebrations showcased the unity, resilience, and steady advancement of Kuwait under the Emir’s wise guidance.

He noted that the National Day and Hala February events symbolized the country’s ongoing progress and national spirit.

The president also highlighted the longstanding historical relationship between Pakistan and Kuwait, rooted in mutual trust, shared values, and a collective dedication to regional stability and prosperity.

He pointed out that the partnership between the two nations continued to expand across crucial areas, including trade, investment, information technology, defence cooperation, and cultural and people-to-people exchanges.

Acknowledging the contribution of the Pakistani community in Kuwait, President Zardari described it as an important link strengthening the bonds between the two countries while supporting Kuwait’s development.

He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering bilateral cooperation in line with Kuwait’s continued progress, emphasizing the shared benefits for both brotherly nations.

The president concluded by extending his best wishes for the health and well-being of the Kuwaiti Emir, the prosperity of the people of Kuwait, and the enduring strength of the friendship between the two countries.
