Islamabad (Web Desk): President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have felicitated the Christian community around the world on the auspicious occasion of Christmas.
In their separate messages on the occasion, have assured the community that the government of Pakistan will continue to safeguard the rights and privileges of all minorities living in the country.
The president’s official Twitter account also extended his “heartiest felicitations”, adding that the Muslims “deeply respect Jesus Christ as one of the great messengers of Allah Almighty”.

The Christian community of Pakistan is celebrating Christmas across the country today (Saturday).
Special services were held in churches and prayers were offered for peace, progress and the prosperity of Pakistan.
