Gilgit (Web Desk): The Gilgit-Baltistan government on Monday announced Rs Rs1040 billion budget for the next fiscal year 2024-25 in the Assembly on Monday.
While presenting budget in the House, Finance Minister Muhammad Ismail said that a total of Rs34.50 billion have been earmarked for Annual Development Programme while Rs86.60 billion have been set aside for non-developmental expenditures.
He announced an increase of 25% in the salaries of government employees from grade 1 to 16 and 20% in the salaries of employees of grade 17 and above.
