President Zardari, PM Shehbaz vow to work together for country’s progress

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed their commitment to move forward together for the progress of the country.

The president and the premier expressed the resolve during their meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Monday.

The two leaders engaged in discussions concerning the country's political, economic, and security challenges, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts.

They agreed to move forward with addressing legal matters by involving all relevant political stakeholders in the decision-making process.

Additionally, the two leaders touched upon the ongoing legislative work in Parliament.

President Zardari assured the PM Shehbaz of his full support in ensuring the nation's stability and progress. In turn, the premier conveyed his heartfelt wishes for President Zardari's health and well-being.

The meeting also saw the presence of prominent political figures, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Kareem Kundi, former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, and National Assembly Member Syed Naveed Qamar.
