Gold price increases by Rs4,100, reaches to Rs359,800 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a notable surge on Saturday, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

The cost of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs4,100 per tola, reaching Rs359,800 compared to Rs355,700 recorded on the previous trading day.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs3,515, now standing at Rs308,470, up from Rs304,955. The 22-karat variant also witnessed an increase, with the price for 10 grams moving up by Rs3,222 to Rs282,774 from the earlier Rs279,552.

In line with the gold market's upward movement, silver prices also edged higher. The rate for one tola of silver went up by Rs108 to reach Rs4,121, while the cost for 10 grams advanced by Rs93, now priced at Rs3,533.

On the global front, precious metals followed a similar trend. International gold rates climbed by $41, settling at $3,371 per ounce, compared to $3,330 previously.

Silver on the world market also saw an increase of $1.08, with its price moving from $37.80 to $38.88 per ounce.
