Gold price increases by RsRs5,700, reaches to Rs482,936 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices recorded a significant rise in Pakistan’s domestic market on Saturday, as the rate of 24-karat gold jumped by Rs5,700 per tola, reaching Rs482,936, according to the latest figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The upward movement was also reflected in the 10-gram rates, with 24-karat gold becoming Rs4,972 more expensive to reach Rs414,039. Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold for 10 grams increased by Rs4,558, bringing it to Rs379,549.

Gold also gained ground internationally, with its price climbing by $57 to reach $4,604 per ounce, the association reported.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady in the local market. A tola of silver continued to be available at Rs7,379, while the rate for 10 grams held firm at Rs6,326.

The international price of silver likewise showed no change, remaining at $69 per ounce, according to the association.
