Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold per tola surged by Rs1,800 on Thursday, reaching Rs320,800, compared to its previous rate of Rs319,000.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw an increase of Rs1,543, climbing to Rs275,034 from Rs273,491. The cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also rose by Rs1,423, reaching Rs252,123, up from Rs250,700.
In contrast, the price of silver saw a slight dip. The per tola price of silver fell by Rs31, bringing it down to Rs3,524, while the price for 10 grams dropped by Rs26, settling at Rs3,021.
On the global front, gold prices also experienced a rise, increasing by $12 to $3,050 from $3,038. However, silver prices decreased by $0.29, falling to $33.50 from $33.79.
