Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has officially announced three public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025.
According to a notification issued by Cabinet Division, offices working for six days a week, will avail Eid holidays from March 31 (Monday) to April 2 (Wednesday).
Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, along with its zonal counterparts, is scheduled to meet on the evening of March 30, 2025, to observe the Shawwal moon.
The meeting, which will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, will bring together religious scholars, meteorologists, and other experts to review moon sighting reports from across the country.
The sighting of the Shawwal moon will signify the conclusion of Ramadan and the beginning of the joyous Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
