Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs1,000 on Tuesday, with the per tola rate reaching Rs304,200 compared to Rs303,200 the previous day.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs857, climbing to Rs260,802 from Rs259,945.
The cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also went up by Rs794, from Rs238,283 to Rs239,077.
In contrast, the prices of silver remained unchanged. The per tola price stood steady at Rs3,350, while the price for 10 grams remained at Rs2,872.
On the global front, the price of gold in the international market saw a modest increase of $10, rising to $2,910 from $2,900.
However, the cost of silver remained unchanged internationally at $32.45.
