Gold price increases by Rs2,500 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a noticeable surge on Monday, climbing by Rs2,500 to reach Rs269,900 per tola, up from Rs267,400.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), for 10 grams of 24-karat gold, the price increased by Rs2,144, bringing it to Rs231,396, from the previous Rs229,252.

Meanwhile, the price of 22-karat gold for 10 grams rose to Rs212,113, compared to Rs210,148 earlier.

In contrast, silver prices remained stable, with the per tola rate unchanged at Rs3,250 and the price for 10 grams holding steady at Rs2,786.

On the global stage, gold prices also saw an uptick, rising by $25 to $2,587 per ounce from $2,562, as reported by industry analysts.

The latest changes in gold and silver prices reflect a mix of domestic and international market trends, driven by factors like currency fluctuations, economic forecasts, and investor activity.
