Australia restrict Pakistan at 117 in final T20I

Hobart (Web Desk): Pakistan set a target of 118 runs for Australia in the third and final T20I of the three-match series at the Bellerive Oval on Monday.

After winning the toss, Pakistan decided to bat first against Australia but the hosts restricted the Green Shirts at 117 runs in 18 overs.

Pakistan made some changes to their lineup for this match. With captain Mohammad Rizwan resting, Agha Salman takes charge of the team for the first time.

Sahibzada Farhan has been promoted to open the batting alongside Babar Azam, while Haseebullah Khan will keep wicket.

Fast bowler Jahandad Khan made his debut, coming in for Naseem Shah.

The hosts, on the other hand, kept their side unchanged, sticking with the same lineup that won the previous two games.

Australia have already secured the series, having won the first two matches—one by 29 runs in Brisbane, despite rain interruptions, and the other by 13 runs in Sydney.
