Sindh government ,China collaborate to establish mini truck assembly line in Karachi

Karachi (Web Desk): The Sindh government and China have announced plans to set up a mini truck assembly line in Karachi. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that Chinese investors have agreed to establish a plant in Karachi, which will benefit various business groups and individuals. He also announced that charging stations for electric vehicles will soon be established across Sindh.

At the launch ceremony of the Super Mini Truck in China, Sindh's Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, and other officials participated. Sharjeel Inam Memon highlighted that the Super Mini Truck project is a great example of industrial collaboration and technical cooperation between Pakistan and China, which will open new doors of development and prosperity for both countries.

The Super Mini Truck is an innovative project designed to address logistics challenges in both urban and rural areas. The vehicle offers a sustainable, affordable, and accessible mode of transport, and has the potential to meet the growing demand for light commercial vehicles in Pakistan. The project will accelerate industrial development, local parts manufacturing, job creation, and the technology transfer process.

Sharjeel Inam Memon further stated that this project is the first step towards transforming Karachi into a regional hub for vehicle manufacturing. The Sindh government will provide regulatory support, infrastructure preparation, and training of local workforce to ensure the success of this initiative.

A key feature of the Super Mini Truck is its ability to easily convert into a Super Mini Car.

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon praised the visionary leadership of Cherry Holding’s Chairman, Yin Tongyou. The event was also attended by Sindh Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Zahid Bashir, the Group CEO of Budget Petroleum Investment Holdings Company, Hong Kong.
