Islamabad (Web Desk):Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, at the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, landed in Riyadh on Wednesday to take part in a consultative ministerial session involving foreign ministers from Arab and Muslim countries.
Upon arrival, he was received by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, Ahmed Farooq, as well as officials representing the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, DPM Dar will affirm Pakistan’s full support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and political independence of all brotherly nations in the region, while calling for an immediate halt to attacks on their territories.
He will also reiterate Pakistan’s appeal for a swift resolution to the ongoing conflict, emphasizing the importance of resuming dialogue and diplomatic engagement.
DPM Dar will also underscore Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives and its commitment to playing a constructive role in addressing the severe security challenges confronting the region.
