Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed authorities to ensure foolproof security arrangements across the province during Muharram, particularly on Ashura.
In a statement issued on Friday, she instructed officials to prepare a comprehensive security plan to maintain law and order during the religious month.
The Chief Minister said that Rescue 1122 services, field hospitals, and mobile clinics will remain operational 24/7 throughout Muharram to provide immediate medical assistance where needed.
She further added that QR code-based panic button systems are being installed at 4,007 imambargahs across Punjab to ensure swift emergency response in case of any incident.
