PM Shehbaz expresses satisfaction over training of 300 agriculture graduates in China 

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed pleasure over the successful completion of practical training by the first batch of around 300 Pakistani agriculture graduates in China.

Sharing his thoughts on his X account, the premier stated, “Very heartening to know that the first batch of around 300 Pakistani agriculture graduates have successfully completed their hands-on practical training in Shaanxi Province, China.”

The graduates underwent training in several key areas such as water-saving irrigation, seed production, animal husbandry, agricultural production, and methods to prevent post-harvest losses.

PM Shehbaz acknowledged the support provided by the Chinese leadership, the provincial authorities of Shaanxi, and the two universities, expressing his appreciation for their support an collaboration.

He also appreciated the Ministry of National Food Security, the Higher Education Commission, and the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing for their dedicated efforts in ensuring the programme’s success.

This group of graduates is the first to complete training under the broader initiative involving 1,000 Pakistani agriculture graduates, a programme that was announced by PM Shehbaz during his official visit to China in June 2024.
