Gold price increases by Rs1,500, reaches to Rs357,700 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a notable uptick on Monday, reflecting both domestic market movements and international trends.

According to figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the rate for 24-karat gold climbed by Rs1,500 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs357,700, compared to Rs356,200 recorded on the preceding trading session.

 Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold moved upward by Rs1,286, now valued at Rs306,670. Gold of 22-karat purity followed suit, gaining Rs1,179 and reaching Rs281,124 for 10 grams, up from its previous rate of Rs279,945.

While gold continued its upward trajectory, silver prices held steady. The cost of one tola of silver remained unchanged at Rs4,031, with 10 grams likewise flat at Rs3,455, indicating no movement in the white metal’s valuation in the local market.

On the global front, gold prices advanced by $15 per ounce, rising from $3,335 to $3,350, signaling continued bullish sentiment in international bullion markets. In contrast, international silver rates exhibited no change, holding firm at $37.98 per ounce.
