US President Trump receives grand royal welcome during historic UK state visit

London (Web Desk): United States (US)  President Donald Trump was greeted with a spectacular royal reception as he arrived for his second state visit to the United Kindom (UK) on Wednesday.

The grand event featured traditional gun salutes, a ceremonial guard of honor with soldiers on horseback, and the soulful tunes of bagpipes, reflecting the pomp and pageantry beloved by the American leader.

During the ceremony at Windsor Castle, west of London, President Trump shared light-hearted moments and laughter with Britain’s King Charles III.

Trump inspected a massive contingent of 1,300 British military personnel dressed in iconic red tunics and gold-plumed helmets, accompanied by around 120 horses.

Officials described the event as the largest ceremonial guard of honor ever given for a state visit to Britain in living memory.

The historic visit unfolded peacefully and away from the marchers and protesters who had gathered elsewhere.
