Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a notable surge of Rs2,400, on Saturday reaching a new high of Rs338,500 per tola, up from Rs336,100 the day before.
The cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also experienced a rise of Rs2,058, climbing to Rs 290,209 from Rs288,151.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs1,886, reaching Rs266,034, compared to Rs264,148 previously.
Silver prices also saw an uptick, with the cost of one tola of silver rising by Rs33 to Rs3,410, while the price for 10 grams of silver increased by Rs28, bringing it to Rs2,923.
In the global markets, the value of gold rose by $24, settling at $3,201, up from $3,177, while silver gained $0.33, with its price reaching $32.28, up from $31.95.
