Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Five soldiers, including a captain, were martyred in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Kech District of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Monday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during follow up sanitization operation five terrorists of Indian proxy, Fitna Al Hindustan were also eliminated by security forces.
The security personnel who embrace martyrdom included Captain Waqar Ahmed, 25, resident of Loralai, Naik Asmat Ullah, 35, resident of Dera Ghazi Khan, Lance Naik Junaid Ahmed, 29, resident of Sukkur, Lance Naik Khan Muhammad, 29, resident of Mardan and Sepoy Muhammad Zahoor, 28, resident of Swabi.
The military’s media wing said that Sanitization operation in the surroundings continued to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorists left in the area.
“The martyrdom of our brave officers and soldiers further strengthens our resolve,” the ISPR said, adding that Pakistan’s security forces, in step with the nation, remain steadfast to eradicate terrorism from the country.”
