Rawalpindi (Web Desk): At least six terrorists were been killed in an operation by security forces in Kech district of Balochistan, the military's media wing has stated.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted in Hoshab area on information regarding movement of the terrorist group on motorcycles towards Panjgur from Kech.
The security forces immediately cordoned the area and started a search operation to apprehend the terrorists.

The military's media wing said that a heavy exchange of fire took place between terrorists and security forces. "Resultantly, six terrorists were killed and a large cache of arms and ammunition were recovered."
"During the engagement, Havaldar Hidayat Ullah embraced shahadat while Naik Mir Muhammad was injured," the ISPR said.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday lauded the security forces for conducting successful operation against the terrorists in district Kech.
In a statement, he condoled with the bereaved family of Havaldar Hidayat Ullah who embraced martyrdom in the operation.
The premier said that Havaldar Hidayat Ullah embraced shahadat for the country and the entire nation salutes to its martyrs.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of Naek Wazir Muhammad who was injured during the operation.
