Gold price increases by Rs900, reaches to 336,100 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices experienced a notable uptick in the domestic market on Friday, with the cost of 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs900, bringing it to Rs336,100 compared to the previous day’s rate of Rs335,200, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGA).

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold moved up by Rs772, now standing at Rs288,151 from the earlier Rs287,379. The value of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also climbed, increasing by Rs708 to reach Rs264,148 against its previous price of Rs263,440.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unmoved in the local market. The rate for per tola silver closed at Rs3,377, while the 10 gram rate was steady at Rs2,985, showing no change from the previous session.

Globally, the price of gold registered a modest gain as well, rising by $9 to reach $3,177 from $3,168. Silver prices in the international market, however, held firm at $31.95 without any fluctuation.
