Trump claims hitting over 7,000 targets across Iran, says Tehran’s military capabilities ‘obliterated’, presses allies over Hormuz

Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump claimed that in the third week of the ongoing conflict with Iran, American forces have effectively incapacitated Iran’s defensive and military capabilities.

Addressing a press conference at White House, President Trumpsaid that these operations have reduced Iran’s ability to launch attacks by as much as 90 percent.

During the presser, President Trump provided key updates on the military campaign, stating that over 7,000 targets inside Iran had been successfully struck.

He added that US forces had sunk more than 100 Iranian naval vessels. Iran’s radar systems have reportedly been completely neutralized, while the country’s drone and missile production capabilities are being systematically destroyed.

President Trump further asserted that the US had eliminated Iran’s leadership in the operations, claiming that the powerful American military had dismantled the Iranian regime.

Speaking on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, he noted that countries relying on oil shipments through the waterway would now need to take proactive measures themselves.

While Iranian ships laying naval mines have been destroyed, President Trump admitted that it is not yet possible to confirm whether additional mines remain in the Strait. He urged other nations to join the United States with full commitment and speed in supporting its efforts.

The US President concluded by emphasizing that the war against Iran has now entered its third week and that American operations have effectively stripped the Iranian regime of its defensive capabilities.
