Barrister Gohar, KP CM Gandapur hold 'positive' meeting with COAS

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Thursday revealed revealed that he and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur held a significant meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir.

Speaking outside Adiala Jail, Gohar referred to the meeting as a promising development, noting that it marked the beginning of discussions.

He added that all of PTI’s key demands were presented during the talks, which took place in Peshawar.
Barrister Gohar welcomed direct communication with the military leadership, calling it a positive move.

PTI leader Asad Qaiser confirmed the development as well, stating that negotiations had indeed started.

According to sources PTI founder Imran Khan also confirmed the meeting, expressing that the party had long sought to initiate dialogue with the other side.
