DPM Dar, Japanese FM welcome US-Iran understanding 

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation on Monday with Japan’s Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, during which both leaders discussed recent diplomatic developments.

During the conversation, the two sides welcomed the understanding reached between the United States (US) and Iran, describing it as a positive development for peace and stability in the region as well as for the broader international community.

The Japanese foreign minister, in particular, expressed Japan’s strong appreciation for Pakistan’s steady and constructive diplomatic engagement throughout the process, saying it played an important facilitating role in helping the outcome move forward.

The two sides reaffirmed the importance of continuing diplomatic dialogue, agreeing on the need to remain in close contact and maintain regular communication in order to further strengthen bilateral relations and deepen cooperation on issues of shared interest.
