Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs2,900 per tola, reaching Rs280,800 on Wednesday, compared to Rs277,900 on the preceding day.
All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), this uptick also reflected in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which rose by Rs2,487, moving from Rs238,254 to Rs240,741.
The cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold followed a similar trend, climbing from Rs218,400 to Rs220,679.
Meanwhile, the silver market remained unchanged, with per tola and per 10-gram silver prices holding steady at Rs3,350 and Rs2,872.08, respectively.
In the international market, the gold prices experienced a slight dip, falling by $29 to $2,661 from $2,690, as reported by the association.
