President Zardari felicitates South Korea on National Liberation Day

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday congratulated President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung, the South Korean government and its people on the occasion of their National Liberation Day.

According to the President Secretariat Media Wing, in his message, President Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to its longstanding and cordial relationship with South Korea.

“In his letter, the president highlighted that Pakistan attaches great importance to its friendly relations with the ROK. He noted that over the decades, bilateral ties have continued to grow, underpinned by mutual trust, close cooperation and constructive engagement at both bilateral and multilateral levels.”

President Zardari expressed the hope that Islamabad and Seoul would further broaden their collaboration in fields of shared interest, particularly political interaction, commerce, investment and exchanges between their peoples.

He also expressed his desire to work in close coordination with the South Korean leadership to take the bilateral partnership to a stronger level and create greater opportunities for the progress and well-being of the people of both countries.
