Gold price increases by Rs4,700 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold saw a significant rise, climbing by Rs4,700 to reach Rs314,000 per tola on Friday, compared to the previous trading day’s price of Rs309,300.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also surged by Rs4,030, settling at Rs269,204 from Rs265,174.

The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also experienced an increase of Rs3,694, reaching Rs246,779 from Rs243,085.

In the silver market, the price of one tola of silver rose by Rs90, now priced at Rs3,530. The cost of 10 grams of silver also went up by Rs77, moving from Rs2,949 to Rs3,026.

Looking at the international market, gold prices saw an uptick of $46, reaching $2,988 from $2,942. Similarly, silver prices gained Rs0.86, rising to Rs33.86 from Rs33.00.
