Punjab CM directs to expedite progress on 'Apni Chhat Apna Ghar' initiative

Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has instructed authorities to expedite progress on the 'Apni Chhat Apna Ghar' initiative across the province.

Presiding over a meeting in Lahore on Monday, she emphasized that the core objective behind every action taken by the Punjab government is to advance development and ease the lives of citizens.

The Punjab CM highlighted that the 'Apni Chhat Apna Ghar' scheme represents a fresh beginning for low-income families striving for better living conditions.

During the meeting the provincial government’s officials briefed the CM, informing that loans totaling Rs60.5 billion have been extended to 51,911 deserving households to support the construction of their homes under this programme.
